UNITY IN THE GOLD COUNTRY
VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION: HELPING HANDS OF UNITY
POSITION: Coordinate Helping Hands of Unity program
PURPOSE: Support community as requested
SCHEDULE: As needed
REPORTS TO: Marian Weast
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Transport meals to homebound
2. Light chores/errands
3. Pet and or elder care assistance
4. Moving/hauling
5. Deliver firewood for heating
6. Safety construction (ramps, grab bars, etc.)
7. Friendly companioning visits/safety checks
8. Minor household repairs
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Ability to respond to various needs and requests as available
