From the moment of birth, human beings begin to experience continuous aging. Before the age of 25, the body can recover from biological aging; it's the gradual deterioration of functional characteristics that is bothersome. An increased susceptibility to infection and a greater risk of heart attack or stroke. We notice a slight decrease in height as the bones of our spines get thinner, bones that break more easily. Joint changes occur that range from minor stiffness to severe arthritis and stooped posture. Yoga refreshes your mind and spirit while toning the body and keeping the internal organs and hormonal system in balance. All the more reason for people of all ages to do yoga. In fact, yoga asanas are one of the few physical exercises you can continue doing as you age. As age progresses, it is more important to focus on whether you are doing some form of exercise rather than how much you do. Don't waste another day!
I look forward to practicing together, Lulu Jacobson
