Wednesday Yoga Class

 Everyone is welcome, no matter the age. When we make the decision to do something entirely different in our lives we take a "leap of faith". Yoga is one of the renewed behavior decisions that will increase

the body's balance and core strength along with increasing flexibility. Moving the joints will increase the body's ability to face arthritis head on. Along with increasing the body's potential, developing the breath is equally as important, something we do not often think about. The combination lowers blood pressure, heart and respiratory rates and the body's level of cortisol, a hormone it produces to combat stress. Yoga is known to affect the body as well as the mind. If you do yoga on a regular basis, it will help your brain to develop memory networks. Gradually, as the yoga poses and behaviors become more desirable, they will begin to replace old "desirable" behaviors that no longer serve you, such as smoking, drinking and consuming unhealthy food. By increasing your flexibility, strengthening your joints and socializing with like minded people, you do something very important for yourself, you relax. Please come to a class and see for yourself.  Suggested donation is $10.00.
