VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION – BOOKSTORE MANAGEMENT TEAM

 

POSITION:    Bookstore Management Team

 

PURPOSE:   To oversee the working of the UGC Bookstore

 

SCHEDULE:    As needed to complete the duties as required (Sunday and special events)

 

REPORTS TO:  Minister

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

1.    Coordinating the cashier schedule

               

                2.    Ordering books, gifts and cards.

 

                3.    Train new sales volunteers as needed.

 

 

 

SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:   Knowledge of cash register working.  Ability to count money and make change.  Patience to assist people in finding books and merchandise.  Conduct annual or special inventories as directed. Specific  job tasks will be provided.

 

COMMENTS:  May need to fill in for a scheduled volunteer if no one else can make their time on a Sunday.  Bookstore is to be open one half hour before service and one half hour after service.
